The Expert Advisory Board (EAB) in the PAIDEIA project is a critical body composed of external experts specializing in AI in education, continuous professional development (CPD) for teachers, and educational policy innovation.
The EAB is designed to provide high-level guidance and oversight throughout the project, ensuring that all activities and outputs are aligned with cutting-edge research and best practices in the field. Each member of the EAB is selected based on their expertise and is usually affiliated with academic institutions, policy-making bodies, or other relevant organizations.
The board includes seven experts at the national level, representing each participating country, and two at the European level, ensuring a broad and diverse perspective. The EAB plays a significant role in supervising the development of key project outputs, such as policy recommendations and educational frameworks, particularly those aimed at decision-makers, teachers, and educational systems across Europe.
Additionally, the EAB monitors the project’s ethical standards, ensuring that all activities adhere to the highest ethical guidelines. The board meets regularly to review progress, provide feedback, and offer strategic advice, helping to ensure that the project achieves its objectives with the highest quality and impact. Through its comprehensive oversight and expert input, the EAB enhances the project’s relevance, rigor, and alignment with broader educational goals and policies.
