The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Committee of the PAIDEIA project is a specialized body focused on maintaining the quality and ethical integrity of the project’s activities and deliverables. The committee is composed of experts in monitoring, evaluation, and ethical standards, drawn from within the consortium and possibly external advisors.
The MEL Committee is responsible for overseeing the achievement of quality standards, ensuring that project activities adhere to the agreed-upon ethical guidelines and gender mainstreaming policies. It also plays a critical role in risk assessment and mitigation, evaluating the project’s progress and suggesting improvements where necessary.
The committee regularly reviews and validates the project’s outputs, ensuring they meet the expected standards before being finalized. Through these activities, the MEL Committee ensures that the project remains on track, with a strong focus on accountability, continuous learning, and adherence to ethical principles, thereby contributing to the overall success and integrity of the project.
